World Recycle Week

They are sexy – that’s a pro. We need them – a pro again. Definitely a pro. They just make you happy – plus they help with headaches. I need to buy something for my headache – like shoes. And then there is this balance vs. the floor thing. Sometimes I have my blonde moments, and I mean the really blonde ones. Like that one time when I got stuck between the bars in front of a door, wearing these fabulous high heel pumps. That was the sudden and sad death of my beloved mustard coloured pumps. Since then I couldn’t wear them again.

The World Recycle Week, April 18th until 24th, has inspired us and made us rescue our former favourites, instead of just throwing them away. To make something new with them and to wear them again. That’s what recycling actually is all about.

Sie machen einfach glücklich – und helfen manchmal sogar gegen Kopfschmerzen: Ich geh jetzt in die Stadt und kaufe mir was gegen Kopfschmerzen, Schuhe zum Beispiel. Und dann ist da die Sache mit dem Gleichgewicht und dem Boden. Manchmal habe ich meine blonden Momente, also die wirklich blonden. Als ich mit diesen fabelhaften Pumps im Gitter vor der Tür stecken blieb zum Beispiel. Es war der traurige Tod meiner geliebten senfgelben Pumps. Seit dem hatte ich sie nie wieder an.

Die World Recycle Week, vom 18. Bis 24. April, hat uns dazu inspiriert genau solche Eigentlich-Lieblinge nicht einfach wegzuwerfen, sondern zu retten. Etwas Neues daraus zu machen und wieder zu tragen. Recycling eben.
